See which ingredient puts a number on your label

A retailer questions the sodium on your label, or you just expected it to be lower. Every recipe in Studio now has an Analysis tab that answers where each nutrient comes from. Pick a nutrient and the Where it comes from panel ranks the ingredients by their share of it, in tenths of a percent, adding up to 100.

For one serving, the table sets three things side by side: the exact amount, the value as the label prints it, and the %DV. A rounding column says what changed, such as Rounded up or Nearest 0.1, so you can see how the exact amount became the printed one. Switch the view to the whole batch and every nutrient becomes a row, every ingredient a column, and cells are shaded by share. Flow shows the same shares as a diagram.

Search finds a nutrient by name, and Export CSV downloads the exact amounts, the label values, the rounding rule and each ingredient’s contribution. On a phone, the detail for a nutrient opens as a sheet from the bottom of the screen.
