Look up foods, serving sizes, and Daily Values without leaving your recipe

Partway through a recipe, you often need one fact: what USDA says about almond flour, the reference amount for a granola bar, or the Daily Value of sodium for children. Studio’s sidebar now has a Reference section with three pages for exactly that: Food database, Serving sizes, and Daily values.
Food database searches the same USDA data as the recipe editor and opens a food’s full nutrition beside the results, scaled to the amount you pick. Serving sizes shows each FDA category’s reference amount and how to declare the serving. Both pages keep a Saved list for the ones you use often and a Recent list of what you opened, newest first. Daily values shows each group the FDA sets values for, from infants to pregnant and lactating, and cites the eCFR.
The free tools on the website feed the same lists. Food pages and serving size pages have a Save button. If you have a Studio account, Save puts the item in your Saved list, with an Undo in case you clicked by mistake. If you do not have one yet, Save offers a free account, and the item is waiting when you land in Studio. Daily Value pages have Open in Studio for signed-in members, which opens the same nutrient and age group.
Some FDA serving size categories have no reference amount in grams, such as the ones measured by volume. For those, the recipe’s Serving tab now says so and lets you enter the serving yourself, in milliliters for a drink.
