Know what a label prints as zero before you download it

A zero on a Nutrition Facts panel is a claim. If an ingredient has no value for potassium or vitamin D, the label still has to print something, and BetterMenu prints zero. The export now stops and tells you so first. The Before you download dialog lists each of those nutrients and why it prints as zero, and you confirm before the file is made.

Exports got easier to hand to a printer. PNG and JPEG come at print resolution, 300 DPI, or at 96 DPI for the web, and PDF stays vector. The preview has Add creation details, a small footer with the recipe version, the time it was made, and the rule versions. Leave it on for proofs and turn it off for the file that goes to print.

Every download also writes an issued label record: the label as printed, the zeros you confirmed and when, the source behind each ingredient, and a fingerprint of each file. In production these records are locked for 7 years. Open one from the recipe’s Activity tab with See what was issued when an auditor or a client asks what a label said.
